Council Meetings
Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. These public meetings start at 7:00 PM. The public is encouraged to attend. Please contact the Town Office at least two (2) weeks prior to a Council Meeting if you would like to get a topic on the agenda.
Planning and Zoning
Regularly scheduled Woodsboro Planning & Zoning Meetings are held on the first Monday each month at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. The public is welcome to attend these meetings, which start at 6:00 PM.
Woodsboro Planning & Zoning Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month as needed at 6:00 PM at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. Please contact the town office to be added to the agenda one (1) month prior to the meeting if you have business to discuss. If there are no topics brought forth to be placed on the agenda 1 month before this meeting, the committee will not meet that month.

Town Workshop Meeting Minutes
Woodsboro, Maryland
September 25, 2017
The regular scheduled Workshop Meeting of the Woodsboro Town Council was held today at the Town Hall with the following members present:
Burgess Rittelmeyer, Commissioners Boyer, Piechowski and Spruill. Absent from the meeting was Commissioner Smith.
There was one guest and three residents in attendance.
Burgess Rittelmeyer called the meeting to order and led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
After review of the August 2017 minutes, a motion to accept them as presented was passed 3 – 0.
Commissioner Boyer opened discussion on the Planning and Zoning Commission saying most members are new members and they are seeking guidance on what is expected of them. It was suggested they review the current Planning and Zoning fees.
Resident Earl Powell inquired on the damaged Civil War sign in front of Trout’s Market and offered his masonry skills to construct stone bases to install them in.
Resident Donald Trimmer inquired on getting the skating pond mowed. He was informed once the ground dries enough it will be mowed.
Burgess Rittelmeyer reported on a conversation he had with Kercher in reference to the streets project.
Burgess Rittelmeyer opened a brief discussion on Well 1.
There being no further business, a motion to close the meeting was passed 3 – 0.
