Community Easter Egg Hunt 3:00 pm 
The Woodsboro Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Town of Woodsboro present the 2nd annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. Join us in the Wododsboro Regional Park for a good old-fashioned egg hunt. There will be 3 different areas to hunt eggs according to age group – (to make it fair for the little ones.) Each egg contains a prize while 3 eggs from each group contain a special grand prize token. (9 grand prize eggs total – 3 in each age group). The Easter Bunny will also be there for pictures!

Glenn W. Eyler Post 282, Woodsboro American Legion Memorial Day Services and Parade

On Sunday May 28th, 2023, the Glenn W. Eyler Post 282, Woodsboro American Legion, will hold it’s annual Memorial Day Services and Parade. We invite all to join us on this day to pay tribute to those who have given their lives for this great country of ours.

12 Noon: Wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial at the North end of town.
1:30pm  The annual parade will begin at Mt Hope Cemetery and continue down Main Street to Coppermine Road then down 2nd Street.
At Approx. 2:45pm, following parade, the Legion Family will hold a joint Memorial Service at the Legion Home Located at 101 W. Elizabeth Street. On the hill behind Trout’s Market.
