There was one resident in attendance.
Burgess Smith called the meeting to order and led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The first line of business was a presentation on Dinner in the Dark by members of the Walkersville Middle School Leo Club.
Burgess Smith informed everyone that line up for the Memorial Day Parade would be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery on Sunday, May 28th and to be there by 1:00 PM.
Commissioner Rittelmeyer reported the POS meeting will be held on June 8, 2017 in Walkersville.
Burgess Smith reported Kercher will get their review on streets back to him by June 1st.
Commissioner Piechowski opened discussion on the steel plate at Scarlet Oaks Ct. The Council feels more cold patch needs to be placed around it. Mary will call the contractor.
Commissioner Piechowski opened discussion on blatant properties. In particular the one at 407 Copper Oaks Place. Burgess Smith will talk to the town attorney in reference to this property.
Discussion was held on the high grass and weeds along the road in front of 4 N. Main Street. It was decided to have the maintenance men clean it up and spray before the Memorial Day Parade.
