Commissioner Spruill stated he thought the street survey needed to be back on the agenda for discussion and he would like to see it on the next Workshop agenda. A brief discussion was held on when to place it back on the agenda for discussion.

Commissioner Piechowski had nothing to report.

Commissioner Rittelmeyer reported opening day for the Rec Council is April 1, 2017. He also inquired on the pond drain and was informed it has been taken care of. He then opened discussion on the overflow pipe in the pond.

Commissioner Rittelmeyer reported speaking with Burgess Smith who suggested setting up two zoning fee levels. Resident Joel Rensberger who was in attendance suggested creating a fee called, “Boundary Line Adjustment”. Commissioner Spruill suggested moving it from the sub-division category and putting it in the miscellaneous category. Mary will contact the Zoning Administrator to discuss the suggestions.

Kayrn Lind, representative of the Woodsboro Fire Department and Joel Rensberger, local builder was in attendance to discuss developing the land where the Fire Departments complex sits. Mr. Rensberger informed the Council that it sits on 12 acres, is zoned R-1, has less than one acre in the flood plain and has 40% in flooding soils. He feels he would be able to build 18 – 24 homes on the property. A brief discussion was held.
