Council Meetings
Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. These public meetings start at 7:00 PM. The public is encouraged to attend. Please contact the Town Office at least two (2) weeks prior to a Council Meeting if you would like to get a topic on the agenda.
Planning and Zoning
Regularly scheduled Woodsboro Planning & Zoning Meetings are held on the first Monday each month at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. The public is welcome to attend these meetings, which start at 6:00 PM.
Woodsboro Planning & Zoning Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month as needed at 6:00 PM at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. Please contact the town office to be added to the agenda one (1) month prior to the meeting if you have business to discuss. If there are no topics brought forth to be placed on the agenda 1 month before this meeting, the committee will not meet that month.

Town Workshop Meeting Minutes
Woodsboro, Maryland
September 26, 2016
The regular scheduled Workshop Meeting of the Woodsboro Town Council was held today at the Fire Hall with the following members present:
Burgess Smith, Commissioners Rittelmeyer, Spruill and Kellar. Absent from the meeting was Commissioner Piechowski.
There was four residents and two guests in attendance.
Burgess Smith called the meeting to order and led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
After review of the August 2016 minutes, a motion to accept them as presented was passed 3 – 0.
The first line of business was a presentation on the Israel Creek project. Representatives from the State Highway Administration presented a presentation explaining three different concept plans that could be used for the project. A discussion with all questions being answered was held.
Resident Scott Brakebill was in attendance to discuss his neighboring property. Mr. Brakebill provided pictures of a broken down fence and tall brush and trash trees blocking his sight distance when coming in or out of his driveway. Burgess Smith will look at it and send the owner a letter.
Residents Kurt and Tammy Weinrich were in attendance to discuss the possibility of modifying baseball field 2 for a 16-19 year old Legion Baseball team. After discussion the Council suggested he contact those in Copper Oaks Ct. that have property bordering that field for their blessing and then report back.
Resident Jason Boyer reported the Board of Appeals will be meeting on October 24th to discuss his sub-division.
There being no further business, a motion to adjourn the meeting passed 3 – 0.
