Council Meetings
Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at Town Hall – 605 S. Main Street, Woodsboro MD, 21798. These public meetings start at 7:00 PM. The public is encouraged to attend. Please contact the Town Office at least two (2) weeks prior to a Council Meeting if you would like to get a topic on the agenda.
Planning and Zoning
Regularly scheduled Woodsboro Planning & Zoning Meetings are held on the first Monday each month at Town Hall – 605 S. Main Street, Woodsboro MD, 21798. The public is welcome to attend these meetings, which start at 6:00 PM.

Please contact the town office to be added to the agenda one (1) month prior to the meeting if you have business to discuss. If there are no topics brought forth to be placed on the agenda 1 month before this meeting, the committee will not meet that month.

Town Workshop Meeting Minutes
Woodsboro, Maryland
April 25, 2016
The regular scheduled Workshop Meeting of the Woodsboro Town Council was held today at the Town Hall with the following members present:
Burgess Smith, Commissioners Rittelmeyer and Kellar. Absent from the meeting was Commissioners Spruill and Piechowski.
There was one resident and no guest in attendance.
Burgess Smith called the meeting to order and led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Burgess Smith presented his FY17 Budget for Commissioners to review and comment on. All accounts in the General Fund and the Water and Sewer Fund were reviewed. Changes were noted and Burgess Smith will present the changed budget to the Council at the May meeting.
Commissioner Rittelmeyer opened discussion on changing the master key system throughout town. He provided a cost of less than $1200 for the change out. It was decided to begin now instead of waiting for FY17.
Burgess Smith opened discussion of speed bumps and it was decided to place one on N. Adams Street only.
There being no further business, a motion to adjourn the meeting and go into closed session passed 4 – 0.
