Council Meetings
Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. These public meetings start at 7:00 PM. The public is encouraged to attend. Please contact the Town Office at least two (2) weeks prior to a Council Meeting if you would like to get a topic on the agenda.
Planning and Zoning
Regularly scheduled Woodsboro Planning & Zoning Meetings are held on the first Monday each month at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. The public is welcome to attend these meetings, which start at 6:00 PM.
Woodsboro Planning & Zoning Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month as needed at 6:00 PM at the meeting room behind St. Johns Church, 8. N. Second St. Please contact the town office to be added to the agenda one (1) month prior to the meeting if you have business to discuss. If there are no topics brought forth to be placed on the agenda 1 month before this meeting, the committee will not meet that month.

Town Council Meeting Minutes
Woodsboro, Maryland
July 28, 2014
The regular scheduled Workshop Meeting of the Woodsboro Town Council was held today at the Town Hall with the following members present:
Burgess Smith, Commissioners Kellar and Rittelmeyer. Absent from the meeting was Commissioners Trimmer and Spruill.
Burgess Smith called the meeting to order and led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
There were two guests and three residents in attendance.
The first line of business was with a representative from Cunningham Recreation. A presentation of their proposal for the new playground in the park was presented. A discussion was held on what the town would like to see in the new playground.
Residents Sharon Kellar, Brian Sharpe and Dina Sharpe were in attendance to express concerns on the sale of the Fire Department Complex on Coppermine Rd.
Commissioner Kellar opened discussion on the development of the Lancaster property off Coppermine Rd and Adjacent to Copper Oaks sub-division. Ms. Susan Hauver was also in attendance. Commissioner Kellar explained how Lancaster would like to avoid a storm water management pond and looping of the water system by building only five homes. A discussion on the development was held and it was decided to have Mr. Lancaster present a site plan to the Council. Commissioner Kellar will communicate this with Mr. Lancaster.
Commissioner Kellar opened discussion on purchasing a new American Flag for the town hall. All agreed one was needed. Mary will have one ordered.
Commissioner Rittelmeyer announced that he would have the proposals for the new playground at the August Town Meeting for review.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
