The Woodsboro Town Council met today at 7:00 PM in the fellowship room of St. John’s UCC with the following members present:

Burgess Rittelmeyer, Commissioners Smith, Cutshall, Crum and Boyer.

There were no guests and six residents in attendance.

Burgess Rittelmeyer called the meeting to order and led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

4 – 0.

Commissioner Smith opened discussion on Platinum Auto and informed the Council they were putting plumbing in their new building and it was not approved. Commissioner Smith would like for them to attend a town meeting for discussion.  He also feels there should be a clause indicating the property cannot be subdivided in the future.

Commissioner Cutshall reported he is still waiting on maps and pricing from Pleasants.

Commissioner Boyer gave a report on the building committee and informed the rest of the Council that we now need to hire an Engineer for stormwater management and parking.  He suggested contacting Harris and Smariga for an approximate cost. It was decided that he contact the firm and email the rest of the Council with the approximate price.

Commissioner Crum reported someone inquired about our website and said when they try to open it, it takes them to a pill website.

Burgess Rittelmeyer reported there will be no November or December Workshop meeting.

Resident Ken Morgan asked if the street sweeper would be out before any snow comes to pick up pine needles along the curb and gutter.  Burgess Rittelmeyer informed him the town does not pick up leaves or pine needles.  Residents should put them in bio-degradable bags for pick up on Wednesdays.

Resident Dan Herche asked if Knotty Alder Court would be plowed by the town this winter. Burgess Rittelmeyer recapped the meeting with Lancaster Craftsman Builders and informed him that after the topcoat is on the street the town will begin plowing. This should be done in the next month or two.

A resident from Wood Street thanked the town for cleaning and repairing the storm drain ditch by her home and said it looks great.

There being no further business, a motion to adjourn the meeting passed 4 – 0.
